Introducing New Publication: Author Speak (E-Magazine)

Hello Reader, Writer and Friend,

It is with great joy, excitement, and a deep exhale that we proudly introduce our first-ever e-magazine publication, Author Speak— a carefully crafted magazine, designed to provide a meaningful space for literary exploration. For every page and word written, we are centering on books, creative arts, spiritual upliftment, health and wellness, lifestyle, and the written word.

We must say, the time and effort invested in this project has kindled a genuine enjoyment. We had fun! We enjoyed the colours, imagery, texture and feelings that Author Speak ignited as we drafted every letter and word. We cherished every moment and every discovery that contributed to bringing our e-publication to life.

For the first issue, "Building On A Sure Foundation" has, without question, emerged as the recurring theme throughout our creative process at Capsonart Publishing. Today, it stands at the heart of our debut edition.

BRIDGING PURPOSE, MINISTRY, AND AUTHORSHIP

There has been an abundance of certitude that has drawn us to pause, be resolved and understand the purpose and God-given assignment of Capsonart Publishing.

There are no fancy words to articulate that

we are here to write and tell what God has gifted us to write, and we are here to be the publishing house that nurtures authorship. (Owner, creator, originator of a produced work).

A project (and major milestone) that has set the stage for future works, Author Speak has given us the opportunity to become more intimate with the work unfolding behind the scenes. But to also be appreciative of how far we have come. Like our first two publications, our e-publication has UNLOCKED the door for our new journey ahead. It is now the emblem of our small beginnings and our future endeavours.

There is the business side of things and the ministry side of things, and Author Speak is like our journal—where we get to share, support, and explore authorship from its grassroots phase into a state of becoming.

While navigating how to bring the right pieces together between production and conceptualization, we have gained a principal lesson: anything built to stand and endure must be established on a solid foundation—not only built, but anchored.

As the Word of God states, “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain” (Psalm 127:1).

Why Author Speak?

An e‑magazine, Author Speak is a creative space where we bring together our content, literary arts, and creative works in one place. As we shared in 2024, we removed the majority of our earlier posts that reflected Capsonart’s conceptual phase and began refining our faith‑based literary identity.

During that transition, we became increasingly aware of how much information is shared online and took time to re‑evaluate how we wanted to continue sharing meaningful work—without overwhelm.

As we share in the magazine, prior to Author Speak’s conception, our online engagement consisted primarily of posts focused on promoting Capsonart Publishing’s launch. We shared devotions from biblical scripture, words of wisdom to inspire those who followed Capsonart, and updates highlighting our books. Along the way, however, we learned a valuable lesson: it is not so much about meeting a trend or social media quota, but about ministering with our words—and enjoying the work we are called to do.

From that reflection, Author Speak was formed. We intentionally took the past year to develop its pages, vision, and purpose.

For our first issue, we focus on the theme Building on a Sure Foundation, sharing the early beginnings of Capsonart—before it became Capsonart Publishing.

What it Responds To

In essence, we are responding to the need to create balance while offering something that can be engaged with at any time. The words we write, speak, and sing carry a voice. Sometimes it's loud. Sometimes quiet, but always reflective of what is held in our hearts and nurtured in our memories. These narratives fuel the writer within us, enabling us to speak to the souls of those who cherish stories and have walked similar paths that are unforgettable, unimaginable, and at times, unfathomable. Author Speak has been created to house all that we desire to say and share in one place.
