Laying Our Foundations: Building Momentum

Hello fellow Writers, Readers, and Friends,

We pray as you are reading this update, something amazing is happening for you. At the commence of the summer season, we start by reminding ourselves: “Let [our] eyes look straight ahead, And [our] eyelids look right before [us].” (Proverbs 4:25 NKJV)

July is a month of action and progress for our literary adventures. Coupled with our intention and commitment for this year, our progress and development of our publishing house has been to excavate (dig out), slow down, and give our attentions to the stories that matter.

As we reach the middle of the year, we are highly focused on refining our writer’s pathway solution, that is designed to support individuals to uncover their unique voices.

As writers ourselves, we understand the struggles, effort, and fulfillment that come from discovering the treasure that lies in our words. Our conviction and objective this year is to provide the means and tools that empower writers like ourselves to dive deep into their words and navigate the challenges of crafting their best work with confidence and freedom. We have come to learn that building something truly takes time. We have learned through out this period that nothing comes easy, and most importantly not to despise small beginnings. OUR BOOK SHOP IS REOPENED

Towards the end of June and into the beginning of this month, we relaunched our Book Shop. It is now open, and you can join a waitlist, purchase preorders, and more.

A while back, we launched our Book Shop and made our books available for purchase. After some consideration, we took down the shop.

About Capsonart Publishing and Our Mission

Founded in 2017, Capsonart Publishing began with two flagship books that paved the way for understanding and enhancing book productivity. This journey evolved into our Writers’ Pathway Solution, leading to the establishment of Capsonart as a Publishing House.

Capsonart's principled vision and mission are to tell the stories that deserve to be told. Grounded in our faith in Jesus Christ, our mission is to create a pathway that leads to an "expected" written "end."

We cherish the qualities of enlightening, entertaining, and empowering, which we strive to bring to the literary table through our books.

Meet the Legacy Writers

Alitta PS Cadmus (aka Pauline S Cadmus)

| Owner/Founder

Alitta P.S. Cadmus founded Capsonart Publishing and is currently working on a historical fiction book. Her debut, co-authored with her sister Mel M. Walters, I Want to Sing Your Song, was published in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cadmus majored in creative writing, focusing on the arts, which inspired the creation of Capsonart Publishing. She is now dedicated to establishing Capsonart as a literary house with several initiatives, including a health and wellness program promoting holistic healing.

Together with her mother, R.M. Vaughan-Cadmus, a legacy writer at Capsonart, she launched "Rewriting the Narrative," a program for self-discovery through creative arts, writing, visioning, and workshops.

JWWJ

| Founding Legacy Writer

JWWJ a legacy writer at Capsonart Publishing is happily married to his wife, Mel M. Walters, who is also a legacy writer.

A dynamic speaker and minister of the Word, he is an Apostolic Pentecostal Christian minister. Since the age of twelve, he has served in Bible groups, taught Bible studies, led volunteer groups, encouraged others on social media, and taken on many other roles, always inspiring people of all ages to live for Jesus. Whether through music, ministry, spoken word, or song, JWWJ dedicates his life to worshiping the Lord and being a beacon of light for God's kingdom and His people.

As a legacy writer, his debut series Way Forward is set to be a milestone for Capsonart's literary ministry. Through this series, JWWJ aims to inspire and help God's people identify areas in their lives where they can move forward with God.

R.M Vaughan-Cadmus

| Founding Legacy Writer

R.M Vaughan-Cadmus, a founding writer at Capsonart Publishing, authored "Roses Among Thorns: Flourishing In the Midst of Adversity." This book, a decade in the making, laid the groundwork for Capsonart’s beginnings. As a licensed practitioner, Marie provides health and wellness workshops and counseling through her company, Hope–Connect, born from her life experiences.

Prompted by the Holy Spirit, her debut book in 2020 unlocked her writing career and new opportunities. Vaughan-Cadmus now focuses on holistic healing workshops and support groups alongside her role as a holistic counselor through her company, Hope-Connect, and as an author at Capsonart Publishing.

Mel M Walters

| Founding Legacy Writer

Called to write and sing for the Lord, Mel M. Walters co-authored "I Want to Sing Your Song" and grew up in the church, nurturing her musical talents. From the children’s choir to composing songs, music became an integral part of her everyday life, where she thrived in harmoniously combining voices. Walters also contributed articles to Edmonton Light and holds diplomas in Community Work and the arts.

In 2017, she married her husband, JWWJ, and they currently work together in ministry dedicated to serving the Lord. They actively participate in outreach and evangelical programs at their local church, Bethel United Stony Plain. With "I Want to Sing Your Song" being one of her significant accomplishments to date, Walters remains dedicated to singing and writing songs that inspire and uplift the soul. She is currently working on her next project, "Formed in My Mother's Womb," a prayer devotional for families.

Community Engagement and Social Connections

We strongly believe and value relationships and the power our words can do to foster such connections. Gradually, we are paving our way to make connections within the community and connect with our audience online and in person. We value what it means to share our stories and how they establish the impact for us to communicate with each other through our narratives, which makes for an unforgettable experience.
